Training Android October 2012 with Romain Zanon (Cogenit) at Oxiane by Android2EE in Paris - Debriefing

Android2EE - Expertise - Formation - Consulting Android
Hello
In early October, I went to Paris (from 01 to 03 October) to train Android. I had only one single trainee, Romain Zanon (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), Cogenitsociety. The training took place in the offices of the company Oxiane. Thanks to Jean Louis Rousselin and Walid Austin for their hospitality and the helping hand for the rental of the room.
Roman thus had the chance to have Android training in head to head with me who has adapted to its needs. He arrived having already made the Android programming personally and with an application that it is currently developing - Zoinz Player a music player (soon on the store).

It is amazing to observe that when people learn to program Android, they have concepts in IHM but after it is the most comprehensive wilderness; they do not know architecting an application a little bit complex (why my music stops when I leave activity? How do I do so it continues? What is a service?).
Thus with Roman, was doubly fun fact.
I, for my part, I was glad to have a trainee who already knew the Android system and not lose time on the trivialities (make a clean recompile the project, install the dev space, place a button, define the concept of layout) and focus on points of detail and subtle notions (thread and leaks memory, services in bound modein start mode, architecture,...). And then I also saw new things by looking at the Roman code (use of layerDrawable, CursorTreeAdapter that I knew but I had never yet coded in an application).
Meanwhile, Roman has appreciated the training. He understood how to architect an application (the notion of service, application, lifecycle, thread, notifications, the management of resources, the multi-screen, adaptation to all versions of SDK,...). He took a big step backwards on the system and learned many things. It was so fully that he is lying between 1 and 2 o'clock in the morning every night to work on his project by introducing the new concepts of the day. It is also pleased that all GST will be on his project, yeah, even learn new concepts as applied to his project. It is also ca adaptability training.
Roman walked away with the workbook of course of 300 pages, the book 'Android a Quick race', an article on sensors, one on the delivery and 55 tutorials (eclipse projects) to help him in his next missions. When he saw all the tutorials, it had eyes that shone, at the same time I understand it, 55 tutorials commented, clean, simple and focused on a concept, it is a valuable Toolbox.

In three days, Roman rose developer amateur Android than Developer-designer Android Stadium. And that pleased when training, the trainee has really taken the level.

The message of Romain to the guestbook of Android2EE:
"Training very clear and very comprehensive with many code examples where Mathias knows his passion for Android. Thank you for advice.

The positives that Roman has enjoyed in this training:

Complete very many examples of code training practices of coding / design highly available trainer books very well

That is, objective filled, a new super developer to the realm of Android.

Next training Android2EE on Paris from 05 to 09 November 2012 or from 27 to 30 November on Toulouse, you also become a God in programming Android.
And then thank you who? Thanks Android2ee:)
